Support Forecaster

Charlotte grew up in Suffolk and is a self-confessed “country girl”, with strong ties to many parts of East Anglia. Charlotte’s father inspired her initial interest in the weather with his garden weather station and constant enthusiasm for the outdoors. Currently a final year Natural Sciences student at the University of East Anglia, she became hooked on Meteorology after studying various modules on the subject during her second year. She now finds it difficult to leave the house without checking a rainfall radar!

Prior to studying, Charlotte worked as a science technician at a busy school in Ipswich. The combination of scientific analysis, problem solving and communication inspired Charlotte’s interest in forecasting, and she hopes to pursue a career in the area upon completion of her degree. She really enjoys working at Weatherquest and learning more about forecasting with every shift.

Aside from the weather Charlotte loves nothing more than being outdoors, be it running, walking or cycling. She’s also a yoga fanatic, and has spent time studying in northern India; she tries to incorporate yoga into her daily life and finds it helps her to balance her work commitments, studies and interests. She also finds time to run her own small-scale natural skincare business.
