Zoë Johnson
Meteorologist

Zoë grew up in Suffolk, though her passion for the weather began in the Cairngorm mountains, Scotland, which she has visited every year since she was born. As a keen mountain climber, Zoë has always loved the changeable weather up in the mountains, often experiencing sunshine, rain and snow all in the space of an hour or two!

Zoë has just finished her final year of BSc Meteorology and Oceanography at the University of East Anglia and has now become part of the Weatherquest team, after working with them part-time during her studies. Zoë has also spent time at the Met Office Weather Desk and took a Year in Industry with DNV GL, where she worked in the Renewable Energy Analytics department, completing wind resource assessments for onshore wind farms. She has recently completed a dissertation on the spatial variability of lightning risk to offshore wind farms.
